Hey Y'all!! My name is Katie, and I started my home baking business in June 2023 from a long time hobby. I have been baking cakes and goodies for family for quite a few years and I have used my baking hobby as a stress relief outlet for even longer. I currently work full time at the University of Minnesota as a Researcher 5 where I study allosteric changes in kinases upon drug binding. Science is my full time job and a huge passion of mine, but baking is my creative outlet. As a trained chemist, I love combining my passion for all things science as well as my creative side to think about how to develop the best cookie, cake or sweet. So much science goes into recipe development and I continue to try new things and keep testing out my creative ideas!
